How to make project cost sheet

Dear experts,

I want to make project cost sheet that contains planning for allocating cost (opex, mandays, other expenses),revenue and profit for the project. Besides i also want to control the cost of the budget to avoid overbudget. What should i use to make this cost sheet?

Can i use the easy cost planning?

hi

you can use the easy cost planning and also you have to maintain the budget profile with tolernace limit customization settings

Madhavi,, i have planned my cost with wbs element using easy cost planning. but may i know from what module the easy cost planning and wbs element that u mentioned,,FICO or PS? coz i made the easy cost planning and wbs through PS

Hi,

Besides Easy Cost Planning,you can also do the planning at individual WBS /Project level.

For this you need to define the Planning profile in which you would be assigning the Cost element group for which you wouold be planning and then you would assign the planning profile to the project profile.

Regarding the second query, you need to define the tolerance limits for your budget.Here for a particular controlling area you would assing the usage of the budget to the budget profile.
