Issue with TASOLL

Former Member

Dear Experts,

In January 2017, there is a PH and 5 Sundays. Excluding a PH and the Sundays, the total working days would be 25.

Now in one of my PCRs, I have used "AMT/TASOLL" (with an intention that the amount should be divided by the total number of working days i,e: 25), But when am running payroll (as test) for January 2017, the amount is being divided by 26 (ignoring a PH).

While creating PH calendar, the public holiday class I have used is 1.

Please let me know where am I doing it wrong.

Harriss

we are having operation TAAX** count holidays i.e we can place like this.

/8**

RTE=TASOLL

RTE-TAAX**

ADDWT *

ADDWT &ABCD

now use /8** series wage type as divide factor else use variable &ABCD as divide factor instead of TASOLL.

It is quite simple use a wage type to count number of weekly off days and then move it to TASOLL then same can be used for further calculations i.e RTE=TASOLL, RTE+ XXXX wage type then use RT as divide factor hope you understand.

XXXX we have to calculate manually.

As far as i remember, While calculating TASOLL Weeklf off's won't be considered only Holidays will be considered Since you are getting 26 days We will have to use a wage type to count the weekly off's and then add same to TASOLL. I hope you understand.

Hello Venkatesh,

Thanks for the info - Per you, TASOLL wont consider weekly offs and considers only holidays, in that case, my entire calculation should go wrong. According to u, I should get 30 days (as u said TASOLL wont calculate weekly offs). But my understanding is tht TASOLL is not calculating holiday (So only there are 26 days (total days in January 2017 is 31, there are 5 sundays, there is ONE holiday, which means 31-5-1 should be my calculation but the system is calculating only 31-5 which sums up to 26 where as my requirement is to have it as 25 days).

Please let me know if I did not explain/understood u in proper way.

Help plz,

Harriss
