    Hi,

the "Expert" mode differs from the standard PD & PA process type because it supposes expert knowledge. This means, you do not use the usual PD PCH logical database and evaluation paths but you have to enter exactly the PD objects that you want to be copied using select-options.

The expert mode is also different because it does not use the usual PD authorities.

By dispensing with the evaluation paths and authorisations, the expert mode should be faster and is therefore suitable for larger data volumes.

    Regards,

    Hi Franc,

you can use either process type but it would probably be easiest to use the expert mode. It really depends on your requirements. It's important first of all to determine your aims, customise everything correctly and to conduct some tests before trying to transfer everything.

SAP recommends that you obtain consulting help before becoming too active since this generally reduces the time involved in working with a complex product that requires expert HCM knowledge.

    Regards, Gerard.
