Unplanned goods issue error

Hi ,

How to do unplanned goods issue of those components which are not in the BOM of production order. In migo we can do it by 261 and choosing others.till here its ok but against what document migo will be done. I mean to say there should be some document which the shop floor guy must give to the stores so that he can do the migo( unplanned goods issue) in SAP.

I thought i can address this problem by creating a reservation and then take a print of that reservation and print out can be the document for the stores.

So I tried to create a reservation in MB21 , movement type 261, but couldnt create the reservation because of following error:

"Manual reservation for order category 10 not allowed"

Please help to resolve..

Is there any other to create a document without creating a reservation??

I want to see a report of unplanned goods issue VS planned goods issue.Is it available or has to be developed?

Dear Yasir,

Perform MB1A ,261 movement against the production order and issue the material.

Check the report MCRE and not COOIS.

Check and revert back.

Hi,

I know thru MB1A or migo 261 i can issue goods to prod order and that will flow as unplanned goods issue. But if the worker or supervisor on shop floor goes and tells stores to issue him goods which are not in the Goods issue slip, then will the stores do this above mentioned transaction?? no he will not. he will ask for some hard copy.

we should think from business point of view also.

What i am asking is: the way we have reservation print out or goods issue slip print as a document to enable stores to issue planned goods, what is the document to issue unplanned goods ??

Dear Yasir,

1) How system will come to know, if ur not mainatining this materails in BOM

2) As per my Understanding this is Purely manual process ( unplanned Goods issue)

Yasir,

You can do one thing, do goods Issue of all the unplanned component or quantity one time using MB1A transaction. You can take a printout of the material document using MB90 transaction for documentation purpose.

Hi,

Unplanned delivery is a common requirement in almost all industries.

You dont need to t create a reservation for the same.

Just carry out MB1A with 261. Go to second screen, enter material, qty etc & Production order number and save.

As far as reporting is concerned, you can find out the list of unplanned deliveries from COOIS, with list Documneted Goods movement. A blank reservation number means an unplanned GI.

Dear Yasir,

1) u can do it Via MB1A or MIGO

2) issue unplanned goods which are not mainatained in BOM to Cost center in MB1a or MIGO

3) movement type will be 201, just go to MB1A give movement type as 201 & plant and enter

4) after this give ur Production Cost center name, then materail, quantity & save

But my main question was against what document , migo will be done. to do migo 201 movement type, i need to a document. how to get that document?Moreover, if I do goods issue to cost centre, will it post cost on the production order? will i be able to see it in the production order as planned goods issue is this much and uplanned gods issue is this much in terms of quantity and cost?

Dear Yasir,

1) if u want against Prd order, still this is possible in MB1A with 261 movement type

2) after executing MB1A, just give movement type plant & storage location & enter

3) then give PRD order number, materail number & qty & save

4) u can check this in COOIS, just input as compoenets & execute
