Hi Experts.
i have existing bwp production(ci) central system with instance number 00 and i have installed dialog instance for bwp on different host with same instance number 00.
I have completed the dialog instance installation succesfuly with instance 00.
Can i use the same instance number for both CI and DI or not on different host.
Please guide me ..it's production system.

Instance number is a unique identifier that allow you to differenciate between installations on the same hardware, if you have installed your DI in a separate box then theres no problem at all.

Hi ,
If you are using different hosts then you can use same instance no for both CI & DI.But incase you use same host for both installation then you cant use same instance no.
The logic behind this is due to port i.e. dispatcher port .
Thanks..
Mohit
