Assigning Product Images to Catalog in E-Commerece ERP - link objects WLBM

I am trying to assign images to the materials with in the product catalog using tcode wwm2.

When I click to link the documents, I enter the Type and Document. I get this error.

Document type L01 does not allow you to assign to

object WLBM

Document type L01 does not allow you to assign to object WLBM

Message no. 26050

Diagnosis

You want to assign an object (such as a material) to a document.

Settings in Customizing (Document management) determine which objects can be assigned to documents per object type.

Document type L01 does not allow you to assign object WLBM to a document.

Procedure

Check in Customizing (Document management) which objects can be assigned to documents of document type L01.

If you want to assign an object that is not defined in Customizing for this document type, contact your system manager.

I followed the documentation on the help.sap.com site. It makes no mention of assigning object WLBM to document type L01.

I also came across this documentation where it quotes:

[http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/EN/4c/4209df470a11d1894a0000e8323352/frameset.htm |http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/EN/4c/4209df470a11d1894a0000e8323352/frameset.htm ]

Documents that you assign must be of a type that can be linked with objects WLBM (for articles)
or TWGLV (for layout areas). To meet these requirements, the document type L01 is delivered
in the standard system.

How do I link objects WLBM & TWGLV to the document type L01?

Thank you

    Hi Jon,

You will need to check in your customizing settings where the document type L01 is defined.

Under SPRO you will need to follow the path:

IMG -> Cross-Application Components -> Document Management -> Control Data -> Define Document Types

Here choose the document L01 and go to the "define object links" area. This defines on what all object types can the document type L01 be attached. Check what all entries you have here, if there are no entries for WLBM / TWGLV, you will need to create new entries for the same. After this you should be able to attach the document L01 to your catalog items / areas.

    Regards
