cr.com's cr viewer - doesn't seem to show all the cr 2008 capability

I notice that viewing a cr 2008 report online that has been uploaded to cr.com doesn't provide the same user experience as when viewing the report offline with the crystal reports viewer 2008. Specifically, it doesn't have the functionality to let you change the report parameters in the viewer to have it update the report display on the fly (ie - without going back to the database).

Is there a plan to put this capability into cr.com's online report viewer any time soon? It would greatly enhance the usefulness.

Hi Peter--thanks for the message. I apologize for the delay in responding.

Crystalreports.com does not support the CR 2008 features. As you know, it will run a CR08 report, but it doesn't recognize the new features. We are working on a new version of the product that will support CR08 fully and it is scheduled for release in January 2010. As we get closer to that date we will of course send out communication to all our customers.
