Inspection lot problem

Dear Experts,

Tthere are two operations in the routing. We need to assign one characteritics to the first operation and two chracteritics to the second operation for in-process inspection. We forget to assign the one chracteritics to the first operation and system has created a inspection lot for in-process inspection . How to assign that first characteritics for the first operation.

In QA02 that tasklist assignment tab is not active and how to add the first characteritics for operation 0010 during results recording?

Hi,

You can insert the New characteristics (MIC's) in QE11 transaction i.e. while recording results. There is an option called Create Additional Characteristics in the screen.

Click on it and insert your MIC number, Plant. You will have MIC ready for evaluation.

Change the Roting with prior date of creation of Inspection lot

then follow procedure

1) Go to QA02

2) Menu > INspection lot > Reset Sample

3) Enter & Save

4) QA02

5) Inspection specification > Assign task list by click on Task/ specification

6) Go to Sample, do the SAmple calculation

7) Save

😎 Check whehter lot status is Rel

anove suggested method is correct but it is applied to that lot only, if new lot is created then this new characteristic will not get attached.

for this there is 1 more method,

make changes in routing ca02, add characteristic in operation 10.

now copy inspection lot number and insert in qa02 click on sample tab above. system will go to next screen save it.

now again goto qa02 , task list asignment tab will get activated now. got o sample tab click on it.

new routing will get attached.
