Retriggering Release Strategy

Dear Friends,

I have a service PO with two line items. Suppose, PO value is 10 when the time of releasing the PO, the value of the line item given below,

1st line item - 4

2nd line item - 6

Now the user want to chnage the line item value as below

1st line item - 0.01

2nd line item - 9.99

No purchasing group change, no PO value chnage. However, the release strategy is retriggered. Pls tell me what would be the possible reasons

if the new item value or qty is greater than old value the release procedure will be retriggered.

If you reduce the qty or value would be retriggered.

As i have seen when ever after release you doing any changes in PO and you want Release strategy retriggered.

Here for retriggered release strategy you do one thing go to Run Tcode ME22N Purchase order Header > Versions Table >

Select latest version created (When do changes in PO a Version will created) > There is a icon Select Version process Flag > Click on that > Automatically Release Strategy Retriggered.

Hi Sujit

Go to SPRO and check MM < Purchasing < Purchase Order < Release procedure for purchase orders < Define Release procedure for purchase orders.

In this check if Release Indicator settings is .option 4 which is _Changeable, new release in case of new strat. or val. change._If it is so then new release strategy will be retriggered.

Hi,

Plz tell me, what are the characteristics you have chosen while creating the release srtategy.

If you are not given any specific conditions in total vale (characteristics) then it will trigger.

Suppose you have give the condition >=1000 then it wo't show any release strategy in PO.
