Hi Experts

Please guide me, how to enable Web DMS functionality? Does it need any extra licensing from SAP?

In customizing i have already done necessary setting in "Set up Webdocument (BSP)"

How do you generate weblink after this step?

Please help me with the detailed steps.

Hi Amaresh,

please see the information in the following link which should help you with WebDMS:

In transaction CVAW under

- BSP Library

- BSP Application

- CVAW_ENTIRE

- Pages with Flow Logic

you will find the entry 'index.htm'. If you choose 'test' from the context menu with this entry then WebDMS will be started.

Thanks for your detailed response.

I followed your steps.

If you choose 'test' from the context menu with this entry then WebDMS will be started.

System could generate the link.

But it throwed an error in that webpage.

Details of the error (In the webpage) are:

Business Server Page (BSP) error

What happened?

Calling the BSP page was terminated due to an error.

Hi Amaresh,

I regret that the "test" function isn't working. Did you maintain the customizing in CVAW_CUST?

Maybe there are already other threads on such BSP errors in the SDN forums.

Did you maintain the customizing in CVAW_CUST?

Yes I did maintain. Following are the details that I did:

Define Document Type for Web Application

Doc type: I have specified.

Storage cat.: DMS_C1_ST

And I have made field selection as optional entries.

Define Sequence for Field Groups

I have maintained sequence.

Select Functions

I have maintained 1,2 & 7

Define Application for Thumbnails

I have maintained this also.

I don't understand, what went wrong.

I hope these details will help you to understand, any mistake I might have done.

Waiting for your further inputs. (I searched the forum for queries related to Web DMS, I didn't find any thing that'll resolve this issue)

Otherwise I would recommend you to raise an OSS message under component BC-BSP and describe the mentioned BSP error in detail.

is it possible to view and manage custom fields opened in tab custom of cv01n?

or is it possible manage for example ZCV01n?

as last is it true that with WEB documents I have not need SAPGUI?
