SAP IBP past 6 months average not rolling

Hi all,

We have a business requirement wherein the planners input value at an aggregated level i.e. "Demand Plan" and then it will dissaggregate at a base planning level proportional on the average of another key figure, specifically on the sales of the past 6 months only i.e. "Actuals Qty"

In the example below, 1 product has 2 customer and each customer has 2 location.

The "Actuals Qty" for the past 6 months with its corresponding average at the PROD-CUST-LOC level

Then in another key figure "Demand Plan" the planners input value at a PROD-CUST level for the current month onwards.

It will dissaggregate at a PROD-CUST-LOC level based on the "Actuals Qty" sales average for the past 6 months.

There's a KBA 2240170 that help me deliver this requirement however it is rolling. Is there a way to make the average based on the past 6 months from the current period always?

Also, how to use the $PERIODIDFR$ and "$PERIODIDTO$ variables in SAP IBP? i dont see any document on how to use this?

Please advise. Thank you 🙂

Best Regards.

Hi Jerson,

How are you? I am not sure if you will still check this thread. I just wanted to check if you achieved the functionality without rolling option. Please let me know if you found the solution.

Thanks,
