GR of co-product

Hi,

After releasing one process order, i have added a co-product to the BOM which is used in that PO.

Now i want to do the GR for that particular co-product against the order which i already released.

Is it possible?

What do you mean by co-produt here? Is this component activated with Co-product indicator or is it just component quantity in minus quantity? If it is just component quantity in minus without co-product indicator activation for both the header material and component material then this is termed as Bi-product in SAP.

You would recieve the Bi-Product when during backflushing(confirmation) or goods Issue. If your defination is co-product than you can recieve when making GR to the order.

During creation of order all the details of the BOM created are copied to the order, subsequent changes to the BOM would not get reflected in the order.

You can use "Read PP master data" functionality to copy back the BOM to the order, now if the order is already released system would revert back the status to created. You are allowed to use the "Read PP master data" functionality for an already released order only if no goods movement or no confirmation has happened to the order.

Just do Read master data.

Make sure that all the fields are marked properly for Co product.

Dear Jish,

1) Plz use " READ PP MASTER DATA " for already realsed orders

2) this Option will update ur Current order with New BOM

3) ur REL order status will become to CRTD, after using this option

Hi,

The Co-product will not be reflected in the production order, if it was added to the BOM after the creation of the order.

You need to run T Code CO02 and from Menu --> functions select "Read PP Master Data".

Otherwise, you can go to components view of production order and manually add the co-product.

Then you can do the GR for Co-product.
