Batch Jobs failing with Communication Link Failure error

Hi All,

We are facing frequent failure of jobs running in our BODS BATCH Servers due to communication link failure issue (Like Connection was forcibly closed and CMS database connection is lost) .Attaching the event view logs captured during the failure of jobs.

We have four BATCH clustered servers where BATCH 1 being primary and rest other BATCH2, BATCH3 and BATCH4 being clustered. And the hardware configuration of each server is 50 GB,12 CPU.

The failure of jobs is occurring in different time instances and it is happening in all the clustered batch servers.

Can anyone help us with the solution to fix this issue?

Hi Lekha,

Please coordinate with SQL Server database team and share the event viewer logs, as per error issue is related to connectivity from SQL Server to BO/IPS server.

From your side please ping sql server IP Address and check the network latency status or check via nslookup.
