ISA CRM Search Issue

I have a scenario where in there is a performance issue for seaching of orders of only one customer from ISA fronend.

The search works fine for other customers.

The details are as follows.

We have a scenario where in only one customer is having a performance issue when searches for orders created are made.

The issue happens for the first times only and then the search happens as usual until the problem re occurs in about 15 to 30 minutes again.

We though that it might be a buffering problem for this customer in CRM Backend.

Hence we decided to crosscheck this issue wherein we create an executatble program.

The program contains just a select statement selecting all the orders of that customer for past 7 days and schedule to run it periodically in the background every 30 minutes so that the records are buffered properly.

However this didnt solve the issue.

Hence requesting to let me know what may be the possible issues here in this scenario.

Is it really a buffereing issue, or may be " some other issue" or can inferface with which the customer is attached from ISA to CRM can also be an issue.

Waiting for comments / Suggestions etc.

    Hello Rahul,

Is there any other specific information in regards this customer that may have caused the issue ie sales org data ?

      Hi Mark,

Let me give a brief scenario.

      1) This customer is creating orders ( along with other customers) on a daily basis from Internet sales front end.

      >Now when a search is made for the orders created from ISA fronend, only this customer has a performance issue.

      >The various serach parameters ( filtering criteria) based on the date on ISA frontend are

      1) Since yesterday

      2) Since last week

      3) Since last month

      4) Since last year

      > Now let us say, the customer make a search today with search criteria being "Since yesterday ". the result of the search is got after 3 to 4 minutes even though there may be just 5 to 10 records for search. However a subsequent ( immediate) search for the search criteria with "Since last year" or "Since last month" is giving results within a 30 seconds to a minute even though records to be searched are about 400 to 30 respectively.

      > If the same customer tries to do a search for orders some hours later, the same issue reoccurs again.

      > This issue is not faced by other customers.

      > Corrective measures that we tried from CRM

      1) Tried to optimise the existing code wherin the selection of order would only be that type of order which the customer is searching( in this case the order type is ZINP - pre paid envelop shop). That is filtering the order types and searching only the ZINP orders which are required on the frontend. But this didnt work.

      2) To check whether, buffereing could be an issue with this customer, created an executable program where in we selected all the orders of that particular customer of past 7 days and schedule it to run periodically using background job scheduling process so that orders of these customers are always buffered for search. But this also didnt work.

      > Can you give us an idea as to what may be possible reasons for these?

      1) either a CRM backend issue?

      2) Either Trex ISA search engine issue?

      3) Either an interface issue?

      4) or any other possible issues?

Kindly let me know if you need any more clarifications.

      Thanks and regards.
