Hi All
We have a new SAP ECC system/server that we want to use in some already built scenarios. The problem is ... the Technical System's name of the new SAP ECC is diferent from the previous one.
Since the are lots of scenarios, I dont want to re-build all the scenarios (re-import all the definitions from SLD, and re-configure all the Receiver Determinations).
Is there any way I can point my RFC Sender Channels to the new SAP ECC system? I tried to change RFC Sender Channel's configuration, pointing it to the new SAP ECC.But when this new SAP ECC calls the RFC, the following error happens in RFC Sender Channel in XI *lookup of alternativeServiceIdentifier via CPA-cache failed for channel xxxxx party '', schema 'TechnicalSystem', identifier 'PRD#200') * .
It seems XI rejects the message because it is coming from the new system (different Technical System name) and not from the previous one.
If the old system is no longer in use, one way could be creating dummy transport target. In the same SLD, for the transport of ID objects in the same system, create transport target from old ECC to new ECC system. Then reimport the ID configration. It should then replace the Business systems.

Prateek

Hi Julio,
Did you check the Adapter Specific Identifiers of the BS related to your new RFC Sender Channel?
Check it out opening this BS, menu Service -> Adapter Specific Identifiers to see if the fields in "Idoc Adapter and RFC Adapter" are correct.

Juan
