Connect MS Reporting Services to BW/4HANA

Hi everyone,

I have to develop a SSRS project and de customer data source is BW/4HANA.

I read that SSRS has a connector to SAP BW. Is it possible to connect to

BW/4hana with an ODBC? I don`t have a BW/4HANA in my company in order to testing the connection.

Hi Alex,

BW/4HANA offers these interfaces: Interfaces for Analysis.

Check with the connector description by the vendor if these are used.

Just another point ,,,

On dropping down Data Source Type in SSRS, I can select SAP Netweaver BI and specify the XMLA Service URL. Will this connection type work for BW/4HANA?

yes, this would be the 'XML for Analysis (XML/A)' option in the link above...
