Error 402 ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT Adapter Type: RFC Sender

Former Member

Hello experts,

I am getting an error like: ErrorStack: Error when receiving by HTTP (error code: 402, error text: ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT)

My adapter type is RFC Sender and sometimes I am getting the error showed before.

I have seen more threads related to this error but I can't solve my error with the showed responses.

Specifically, the configuration that I have is the next:

Transaction SXMB_ADM: HTTP_TIMEOUT parameter is set to 60 seconds.

Transaction RZ10: icm/server_port_0: Current value --> PROT=HTTP,PORT=8002,EXTBIND=1,TIMEOUT=600,PROCTIMEOUT=600

Is there any more parameters to check?

I don't know how to solve this error because it is produced sometimes (I think it is an specific error in a moment).

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Gemma

Thanks for your help

Sorry, I haven't specified the system, it's XI. The objective is to avoid as much as I could the timeout problems during the process setting the related parameters.

Firstly, I have checked RZ11 transaction in order to see the parameters:

My system:

icm/min_threads: 50

icm/max_threads: 100

mpi/total_size_MB: Not found

icm/max_conn: 2000

icm/req_queue_len: Not found

In the next link I have seen the next recommended parameters:

icm/min_threads: 50

icm/max_threads: 250

mpi/total_size_MB: 400

icm/max_conn: 1000

icm/req_queue_len: 1000

Now, the icm/server_port value is set to: PROT=HTTP,PORT=8002,EXTBIND=1,TIMEOUT=600,PROCTIMEOUT=600

The parameters have to be configured in order to maintain a high expected load, so I would like to know if there are more parameters to set apart from specified previously.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Gemma

Have you looked at the log in transaction SMICM? That might be a good place to check.
