is it dumping? or is it a syntax error?

if it is going dump, check in the dump where exactly it is going dump, put a break point before that & debugg..

Hi,

What is the message class and number? What does the long text say (if anything)? Is the message generated from the program or the smartform?

The amount of detail in a one line question is never likely to get an accurate answer.

Hello Nick,

No there is no class number with message. When I got the list from the program with using smartforms . I click print and I choose printer. If ı choose a classical printer such as laser, there is no problem but if I choose a printer which we used to print for bild there is an information error message "OUTPUT COULD NOT BE DISPLAYED(IT MAY NOT BE COMPLETE)

Thank You.

Hi,

Now we're getting somewhere.

So, this message occurs for some printers, but not for others which would suggest there is some mismatch between the smartform settings and the printer settings. Possibly the page format.

When your message is displayed, if it is at the bottom of the screen double-click (if it is in a pop-up click the help icon). This will give you the long text of the message and the message class and number.

Hi,

Doing a 'where-used' on this message it is issued by subroutine printview_display in program LV70AF01. The code here seems to suggest that your output is using a transmission medium the does not enable print preview.

Nick
