Dear,

Scheduling agreement: LPA - with Release documentation and LP - without release documentation.

If your organization procures large quantiteis of material and the requirement is spread overa predefined period then you can make user of the scheduling agreement release types Forecase delivery or Just In Time delivery schedule or both over the traditional method of issuing discrete purchase orders or contract relase orders for procuriement. Using Scheduling agreements have the advantages over the traditional method of issuing discrete purchase or contract release orders for procurements.

In the standard SAP it is defined as one type of 'outline purchase agreement', or longer-term buying arrangement between Purchasing and Vendor or external supplier. Scheduling agreements provide for the creation of delivery schedules specifying purchase quanntities, delivery dates, and possibly also precise times of delivery over a predefined period.

SA consists of a no. of items, for each of which a procurement type is defined.

Standard Subcontracting Consignment Stock Transfer.

For all the procurement type you can use the SA if you need required quantityes on different dates or as per some predefined scheduled spread over a period of time.

With release documentation

Like standard purchasing the documents principle si also applicable to Scheduling agreements. You can defferentiate the different type of SA by means of document type and number ranges. For SA following types are available.

LPA - With release documentation & LP - Without release.

With Relase Documentation:

If you choose to work with document type LPA then all the scheduling lines are stored into the system and are not transmitted to the Vendor. Here you have the advantage to change the scheduling agreement as and when required. The scheduling lines are transmitted to vendor in seperate steps by creating agreement releases. There are 2 types Releases available in SAP.

FRC - Forecast Delivery Schedule and JIT - Just in Time delivery schedule.

Without Release Documentation

If you choose to work with document type LP without release, then no release for scheduling agreement is required. In this case schedule lines are immediately transmitted to the vendor the moment you save them. Here you can not make the changes as per your will and wish. For any change in the schedule you have to intimate the vendor immediately.

Syed Hussain.

Thanks for your kind reply.

sir , SA is giving the output with LP. then i changed the type From LP To LPA the some information is missing like materal , qty, price etc.

My problem is When i create PO then Material is showing the Revision level mark like MT123 B

where MT123 is material and B is changed level.

But when i create SA in that case Revision level is not coming. Ex. MT123 ( B is missing )

How to solve this ?

Thanks
