hi,

While raising Pm breakdown notification -M2 type - if the malfunction start date is earlier to the notification date there is a warning message IM473

how this can be made an error such that system will not allow to enter past dated malfunction details on any other latter dates

in the system messages under Pm i could not find , pl help

That OSS note is saying that the message is a warning

can we make it an error

our requirement is users should not be allowed to enter past date's malfunction details on any other latter date

as of now it allows to enter on any current date , the past dates malfunction details

as we go in all reports by notification date , it leads confusion as notification date will eb some date which contains malfunction details of some other dates

Yes, it is possible, discuss with devolpment team and create entry in table T100 and assign in SPRO-PMCS-MSP-MSO-message control with Error category.

Hi,

We are in ECC 6.0

i have created teh message in t100 and made it as error in spro

but when i enter past date malfucntion details on current date ( notification date ) it did not throw any error

notification got saved

i think soe user exit at teh time of notification saving we may have to use
