We are planning to upgrade from CRM 4.0 to CRM 7.0. The present CRM 4.0 is non-unicode system. Can we install CRM 7.0 on non unicode? What are the benefits of either?
Hi,
Its possible to upgrade CRM 4.0 to 7.0 directly as a unicode or nonunicode.
Let me know if you need more information.
Thanks,
Ripal

I think that CRM 7.0 is only Unicode! You will have to convert your data to Unicode.
If you plan to use E-Commerce with the CRM I would recommend 7.0 as it has many improvements over 4.0 (i.e new layout system, loyalty management etc).
For other benefits of CRM 4.0 over 7.0 I can't give you good advice.
Best regards,
Marian
