Dynamic Recipients Publication auto refresh for the report source

the report used for dynamic recipient list is not refreshing or getting the latest instance of the data loaded via ETL run. Effectively the dynamic recipient list is kind of static and has to be updated manually if and when needed.

to summarize

We have a publication which uses a dynamic recipient list
created using crystal reports. We would like to schedule the recipient list to
run every day. The publication should then run and pick up the latest instance
of the recipient report.

What actually happens is the publication runs and picks up
the last saved version of the recipient list not the last instance that was
run. Does anyone know if this is the expected behaviour and if it is is there
any way to achieve what we want?

we want it to be automatically refreshed.

Make sure that you do NOT have "Save Data with Report" turned on for the report. That way it should run automatically when it's needed.

Could you try the publication after purging and saving the Dynamic Recipient Report?

    Hi ,

We were able to produce the PDF successfully and automatically

Solution: "Make sure that you do NOT have "Save Data with Report" turned on for the report. That way it should run automatically when it's needed."

    Thanks.
