Company Code doesn't appear in CK24/CK22 Marking Allowance Org Measure Scrn

Hi Gurus,

I got a problem. I have two Plants 1111 and 2222. They are assigned to Company Codes AAAA and BBBB respectively. Both comapny codes are under same Controlling Area.

I can create cost estimate without error, ie, status KA, in both plants 1111 and 2222. Before Marking and Releasing when I try to Allow Marking - by clicking the "Marking Allowance" button in CK24, I can only see the Company Code AAAA. Company Code BBBB doesn't appear in the list.

As a result, I can mark and release the cost estimates for plant 1111, but not for the plant 2222.

Trying to mark the cost estimate for plant 2222 gives error CK 701 "Marking is not authorized for period xx/xxxx in company code BBBB". And when I try to allow marking, the company code BBBB doesn't appear in the list.

I have checked the following:

1. Current Period is open in both MM and FI.

2. I am using cost component structure 01. It is active for both company codes AAAA and BBBB in transaction OKTZ.

3. Also tried activating Cross Company Costing in transaction OKYV, for the controlling area for costing type 01 and valuation variant 001, which correspond to my costing variant PPC1.

4. I checked OKYW too. There is no entry - neither for AAAA nor for BBBB - so this doesn't appear to control their appearance in marking allowance org measure screen.

Still no luck. Can you please help.

Thanks.

Regards

Bis

It was a Business one implimentation, which comes with lot of preset layouts and they are set as defualt.

One such layout was defaulting automatically which had a filter set ON. Fixing the layout resolved the issue.

There was nothing wrong with the config or set up.

To close out this issue and similar CK24/CK22 errors, using CK22 [Price Update: Organizational Measure], you need to execute the 'Permitted std cost est variant' by selecting the Costing Variant for each Posting Period/Fiscal Year and for each Company Code/Valuation View (i.e., Legal Valuation, Profit Center Valuation) and then saved it. The red will turn to green.
