Hi All, I have a manual entry mandatory variable on 0MATERIAL,My material consists of values like 222+125,when my user gives this value in variable selection screen it is saying format is not accepted.cant we give the materials with special characters as input entry at selection screen.
please provide your inputs.
Thank you
Hi Lezoch,
yes this material is compounded and showing the same in report, but though we have given in search at variable entry the same,it is saying invalid format.
i have seen if the materials like 2445-121, manual entry variable is accepting as input, but this + sysmbol is not allowed,
for this do we need to maintain at any table,so that it wont create any issues while searching it.
Thank you,

is your material compounded? if yes, then the notation must include the compounding value so it would look like 70/2445+121

Hi,
Did you try the F4 selection? Did you try to select the square on the right side of your input selection?
Regards,
Loed
