Prevent update to Statisitcal Delivery Date even if no output

Hello,

When creating a PO, it is standard behaviour for the statistical delivery date to be updated when the delivery date is changed if:

u2022 The PO has not yet been outputted

u2022 The old delivery date is equal the old statistics-relevant delivery date, and the actual statistics-relevant delivery date is equal the old statistics-relevant delivery date

However, in this day and age more people are environmentally friendly, and in our business we are trying to reduce the amount of printing to become more green.

The majority of our PO's are saved as a PDF and emailed direct to the vendor, outside of SAP. This, therefore, means there is no message created and the stat. delivery date is still open to change.

This means our vendor evaluation reporting is compromised because it does not reflect the original delivery date.

Has anyone a solution to this whereby it is possible to lock the stat.date even if no output.

Thanks,

Jake Smith.
