Standard Table entry after EA-FIN activation

Hi All

after the activation of the business function EA-FIN (mandatory for the RE-FX) my guess was that the system should automatically insert the standard entry on customizing table.

In my case it doesn't happen.

How can I resolve this problem?

Hi Sarah,

sample customizing entries are only delivered in the delivery client. This is usually client 000. You have to transport them manually in your customizing client.

There are two ways:

1. login to client 000 and go through the customizing views of RE-FX and put the entries in a transport request

2. login to customihzing client and go through the cusotmizing of RE-FX and compare it with client 000. There is a compare function in the customizing views: Utilities -> choose connection with client 000 -> mark the entries and copy them in your customizing client.

I would recommend you the second way because you can adjust the customizing during copying it AND the adjusted data will be automatically saved in a transport request.

Where can we find this customizing views? In SPRO>IMG>RE-FX?

Hi Abel,

You have to go to RE-FX customizing items and open an acitivity.

Within the customizing view you will find the described feature.

You have to walk through the customizing views for RE-FX and for

each view copy the entries needed from client 000.

This compare function for customizing settings is available not only

for RE-FX but also for customizing views in other applications.

Hi Neel

I have activate the FE-FX Flag but in the other system I found the entry standard in the customizing table (like standard contract type in TIVCNCCTADD).

In this system all the table are empty. I need a tool to restore the entry.

Hi Sarah,

Please redo the following steps and check:

Please start the customizing (transaction SPRO) and execute the function "SAP Reference IMG" (or your corresponding customizing). At the very top you find the function "Activation Switch for SAP R/3 Enterprise Extension Set". Please execute it. Set the flag "Active" at the Appl. "EA-FIN" and save your work. If it doesnt appear try applying note 631395 to see if it works.

Hi Sarah,

To be able to use the functions of RE-FX, in addition to activating the EA-FIN business function, you have to activate the Real Estate Extension in Customizing for RE-FX and also make the basic settings.
