solution manager 7.2 web services always looking for port 8000

Hi everyone,

I have a weird condition in Solution Manager after upgrade to 7.2.

When I had ICM ports

8000 - HTTP

50000 - HTTP (added autom. during upgrade)

50001 - HTTPS (added autom. during upgrade)

it was fine....

I thought that 2 ports for HTTP are not necessary.

Then I removed 8000, restarted, and in SMICM I can see only 50001 and 50000. But then no web services are working any more!!!

I noticed that i.e. SOLMAN_SETUP first opens hostname:8000, and then redirects to FDQN:50001 - WHY????

So when 8000 is not open any more it does not work. I cannot find any explanation!

On the other hand CRM_UI does not work even when 8000 is open, it says that I do not use FDQN, but it is set, and SOLMAN_SETUP uses it after the redirect.

No redirect ICM parameters are active!

Please advice!

Hi Ilian

Can you check entries in table HTTPURLLOC ?

That table might be the cause why redirects are happening to ports that are not configured on your ICM.

Yes, it seems SUM, somewhere in the upgrade process adjusted this table.
