Ad-On Installation terminated at IMPORT_PROPER?

Hi

I am trying load BI content AD-On SAPKIBIIIH It continuesly runs for 2 days and i stoped it it says

Ad-On Installation terminated at IMPORT_PROPER

If i click on BACK button it says " You cannot reset the queue from import phase "

If i want to load other patches also it wont allow me as Que has got this .

How can i reset the QUEUE or how can i load this BI content again back.

Kindly suggest me some thing

Hello,

Try finding the error in SLOG & ALOG files.

Also stop the patch move the relevant file in <Drive>:\usr\sap\trans\tmp folder to another and start the patch again

Hello Babu, Have you taken consistent Cold/Hot backup before starting the activity ? (would be helpful for restore)

Have you upgraded to latest SPAM/SAINT version before implemnting the BI component ? (mandatory for any component upgrade)

If yes, Please check the SLOG and ALOG files whether they are getting updated. /usr/sap/trans/log

If your component is taking more time check if you have the latest R3trans and if possible upgrade R3trans and Disp+work

Hi

As earlier post said try to check the logs first and find out what was the problem for the cause,try to rerun the patch upgrade again if nothing works then try this

Tcode SE37,Use the function module OCS_RESET_QUEUE ->IV_TOOL=SPAM, IV_FORCE=X

If you are unable to do so then deleted the table entries of PAT01,PAT03 entries from database level.

I tryed to delete PAT01, PAT03 but delete is disabled, what can i do

kindly try to check import logs, if there is any specific error and can get resolved.

otherwise you have to restore the last successful backup and then have to retry with BI content
