Manager approval step in Qualification Profile

Hi All,

We are having EP 7.0 with SAP_ESS and SAP_MSS components on 603 SP3 and 600 SP3 .

We are having My qualification page in ESS which has the provisions for an employee to select and save the qualifications .

We want to add managers approval step to this qualification application before saving it into SAP HCM .

What are the possible solutions to this requirement?

It would be custum application...............

In the summite or save botton of the qualification i.vew

you need to call the workflow to sent this qualificatin request for approval ........

Then once its get approve...............

Then in the SAP back end entry shoud create for the same

Actually I have something similar.

The business requires quite complicated process of approval of qualifications for each position.

This process involves line manager (for required qualification), talent manager (for checking) and higher manager (for final approvement).

I'm thinking about using OM planning statuses for links between QP and S objects, plus some development based on Performance Management funcitonality for approvement process.

It would be great to know how did you solve this request.
