ABST2 issue

Dear All,

I performed AS91 for a new company code as :-

Asset take over date - 30.09.2018

Asset purchase date - 01.01.2017

Life - 8 years SLM

Cost - 2325048 JPY

Depreciation for 2017 - 290631

Depreciation for 2018 i.e. from January to September 30th - 217973

We would like to know as to why we are facing the error attached below while running ABST2.

Hi S Rajesh,

If you need to manually change additional currencies while posting asset migration values, I would suggest you use Tcode FB01 after open asset reconciliation accounts through Tcode OAMK.

Hi S Rajesh,

Have you done the GL account posting - ABLDT if S/4 or OASV if R/3 - of migration values?

This posting is part of the migration process - if not executed, reconciliation differences such as the ones you described will arise.

Hi,

In OASV there is no provision to change the local currency 2 value as system is converting all values based on exchange rate on Aquisition date and giving differences in ABST2.
