Dear Experts,
We are currently using BPS for planning and, would like to upgrade it to BW-IP.
- The current Versions of BW and Enterprise Portal are as follows:
- BW - 7.0 (Only ABAP instance only; No Java Instance)
- Portal - 7.3 (BW JAVA already installed with essential components - BI-BASE-B BI-BASE-EBI-BASE-SBI-WEBAPPBI-IBC)
At the moment, we don't have a Java Instance installed for our BW. And, we cannot go back to an older version of Portal.
We want more information on the possibility of using the 'JAVA' stack of Portal for BW.
That mean, without installing an additional Java Stack for BW, we want to use the JAVA of Enterprise Portal for BW System also.
Can you please share more information and documents on this. So, that we can plan accordingly.
