Hi,

I would like to setup a christmas holidaybetween two calendar days, i.e. 24th eve 6.30 to 25th eve 6.30 for a specific personnel area and employee sub group, The holidays on the holiday calendar are based on single days. I know this cannot be done through holiday calendar config, but through shema customization. Please help me in this regard.

Regards,

Anil.

Hi,

The condition is that from 24 dec 6.30pm to 25th dec 6.30 pm it should be a paid holiday. Say for example if an employee starts his shift from 6.15pm on 24th dec, then only 15 mins to be considered as work day from 6.30 it is paid holiday(Specific Wage Type) for a specifc personnel sub area/employee sub group.

Please help me in this regard.

Hi,

Create ur christmas holiday with holiday class as 3 (u can use any no between 3 to 9). then write a PCR that would check holiday class using VARSTHOLCL and if holiday class is 3 then write ur logic to limit the working time as 6:30 PM for that perticular day and at the end of the PCR pass value to 1 (u can pass any value, this is just a flag) to a time type (say TIMTY).

now write one more PCR that will check if the value of TIMTY = 1 for last day (unsing HRS=LTIMTY)

if the value is 1 then process the time events after 06:30PM as regular working hours.

Hi

your Issue little interesting one.. but can u tell me one thing..

When other employee group's or PSA's are working in same calendar and even in the shift right.

Now u can create a new group or Psa for your Requirement .. But how does the system knows that the second shift (after 6:30) that the employee is on leave.. once the employee is present at 6:15

This will not work in the SAP (As per my knowledge )

Raise this ISSUE to SAP

All the BEST

Hi,

Try two options:

1. Work schedule selection rule

2. Dynamic work schedule in time evaluation

Hi,

Sounds interesting... please mention all the shift timings to which the holiday is going to be applicable.
