CKF Before Aggregation with Frontend Bex 3.X and backend 2004s.

Hi All,

Our backend BI system is upgraded to 2004s, whereas the we are still using Bex 3.X as front end. I realize that before aggregation is absolete in 2004s.

Please suggest how to use the old Before aggregation on the CKF in this case.

Hi Rajneesh,

Still you are using 3.x front end right, then you can use before aggregation option for Calculated keyfigures. Only you have upgraded backend to 2004s.

Even in 2004s front end also, we have Before aggregation optino, If you goto CKF properties-- Aggregation tab-- you will find After Aggregation check box. If you uncheck this box this will act like Before Aggregation.

Hi,

In BI 7.0 Bex Query designer, if you select CKF properties --> Aggregation tab --> you need to check 'Calculation After Aggregation' check box.

With Bex 3.X and back end 2004s, the system is giving message Before aggregation is obsolete.

What are my options ?
