Webi Rich client : reports without publishing Universe

I created a Universe in IDT .I do not have permision to publish to repository. Can I do rich client webi reports without publishing the Universe.

Create a Local connection >Create a Data Foundation >Create a Business Layer

Save and Publish to a Local Folder

Make sure you use the following folder path :\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Universes\ to publish

From Rich Client > log in as Standalone

Click Refresh universe list from the Select a universe for the query screen

I think if connection is shared then you can still use the universe in Webi rich client.check with creating new report and check if you can see universe in rich client

You need to publish the universe first. Offline still need the Logon for your server.
