CHARM - Transaction Type

Hi,

We have upgraded our Solution Manager system from 7.1 to 7.2. After the upgrade, when we try to create a CHANGE CYCLE, its prompting to select a transaction type - but not listing any transaction types. We have maintained the custom transaction type in /nDNO_CUST04 for the field CHANGE_REQUEST_NEW.

    Hi Sam,

    Have you checked the authorization already? the transaction type for change cycle have changed in 7.2 so post upgrade you need to complete the charm setup as well including the authorization.

    Good day,

    We have the same problem. I'm currently working with SAP_ALl, SAP_NEW and about a 100 of the 1 new SAP roles. I'm sure there isn't an authorization issue with my user.

    I log in SM_CRM and I select SolmanPRO profile --> Under Create, I select Change Cycle. This then asks me to select a transaction but there is nothing available to select from.

    Any ideas?

      have you updated the custom role to adapt the new change cycle types already

      custom business roles are not updated during upgrade and you need to adapt them...if it is not authorization error you can check by using SOLMANPRO and use create Change cycle option

    Thanks for your response. You are correct. There are so many new Auth Objects that need to be added or reconfigured. The Auths solved my problem.
