Hi,
I want to add the French (FR) language to a Mobile Sales installation. Currently only English is available. I am not 100 % sure about the steps:
1. Import of the FR language pack, version? Currently we have CRM 4.0 SP 12
2. Translation of the customizing in MSA
3. Translation of the customiying in CRM Online: How do I do that? I can't select the FR language at login screen.
4. Translation of some texts in CRM Online e.g. Orgmodel texts, sales area, ...
5. Generation of the FR BOL and UI
6 Deploying the package
Are these steps correct or am I missing one?
Another point to consider:
The SAP landscape contains also a BW system where they run their CRM reports. Will all reports run correclty if BW has only EN as login language?
Regards
Whity
Hello
Please follow below the steps to have your Mobile application running for FR language.
1. Run the MARLanguageInstallation Tool (Available at 4.0 SP 12 CD structure) for FR language.
2. Open MAS and Resolve the collisions if any. Release all the changelists.
3. Use the TransWB tool to translate custom objects to FR.
4. Release the translation changelists.
5. Open Generation settings from MAS, choose the language FR in both userinterface and Business logic tab pages. Perfrom complete generation.
6. Build the entire application.
7. Now run the application and verify that login screen has FR language listed in language drop down.
Best regards
Shankar
