Fix the lagging qty

Sap guru,

Pls guide me i am working in conductor industries and my scanrio is make to stock with discrete manufacturing comapny

My problem is that suppose i want to confierm 2 km fert material . to confirm these qty of fert material we requried packing material 1 drum and 60 lagging . but when the qty of fert mateial is (2.0) change than the packing material drum qty 1 is fix but lagging qty 60 is also change .

i want to fix the qty with drum.

suppose if i use the 1 no of drum qty than it consume 60 no of lagging .

it is possible or not

Check this points :

1. Create the BOM for your header material

2. include the drum and the lagging as the bom items

3. selct the item (drum)

4. clck the 'item over view'

5. in basic overview . tick in the 'FIXED QTY '

6.so for this item 'drum , the qty remains same even trhu the reqmt will be changed.

Fixed qty
This indicator shows that the component quantity is always the same.

The quantity fixed quantity is not in proportion to the assembly being produced or the order quantity.
The quantity for provision of material is fixed.
