parameter check error

login/no_automatic_user_sapstar parameter value =0

E:instance profile is missing

E:An SAP program must be started

E:parameter SPSYSTEMNAME is missing in profile BPTL_NSP_BPT

this is the error when parameter check.

I.e why i am not able to login to new created client with sap*

Go to /sapmnt/<SID>/profile and edit instance profile parameter (<SID>_DVEBMGS<inst_nr>_<hostname>) and look for this parameter (login/no_automatic_user_sapstar) If it is not there just simply add it to profile and assign value 0 to it i.e. login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0.

Then you have to restart SAP System to become changes active.

i have checked the parameter value in RZ11

dift value=1

profile value =1

current value =1

Plz suggest how to change value

It means that value is not reflected in profile & thats why you are unable to login to new client.

Kindly change the value to 0 & dont forget to save it in RZ10.After this take a restart & then you will be able to login into new client.

Hi ,

What password you are using to login via sap*. Do you want to perform local client copy.

Have you restarted the server after changinf the profile. Have you imported profile in RZ10 & check the value in RZ11 for parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar.Please check these SAP note :: 2383 and 68048 .

Please check above recommendation.
