Hello, how can I keep quantity entered in a sales Inquiry?

After having entered Material and Material Quantity, if I hit "enter" the quantity entered disappears and the quantity field becomes protected. Is there a way to keep the quantity entered? Thank you and regards. Enrico

Hello Enrico,

I can see a few possible causes:

1. custom development - check userexit_field_modification in mv45afzz.

2. somebody modified the standard item category AFN to have item type B.

3. There are probably a few other possibilities, which I forgot to mention, check the logic in MV45AFFE_FELDAUSWAHL_STATUS as explained in SAP note 208245 - Availability of fields in sales orders.
