JDBC Connection Monitoring via SAP Solution Manager 7.2

Hi,

Could you please explain how JDBC Connection Monitoring can be set up with SAP Solution Manager 7.2 as per SAP standard.

i have checked the below suggested link but could not find JDBC connection as monitoring scenario.

Hi

An idea could be to use Wily Introscope for JDBC monitoring.

The guide that mentions how you can set up emergency monitoring for SAP for when SolMan needs to go down. I was thinking that the same principal could perhaps be applied in terms of JDBC monitoring but instead of being emergency monitoring it could be part of the regular monitoring instead.

Reason why I think this might work out is that you can create custom metric / alert based on content coming from Wily Introscope.
