"PO XXXXXX contains no items for confirmation" for Unlimited SC

Hi ,

We are on SRM 4.0 SP 04 on classic scenario.

Our users create Limit items shopping cart for services i.e. hiring consultants etc.

Users when they create such Limit items shopping carts with unlimited value for a fixed period of time they are able to do multiple goods receipt/SES in backend R/3 w.r.t the PO created from the SC.

But when users try to do the confirmations in SRM the first one is created correctly but for subsequent confirmations the system issues a "PO XXXXXX contains no items for confirmation" message. So R/3 is allowing multiple SES but not SRM.

Can you please advise on it ? I have checked the SAP notes and all of them are either already applied or they are not relevant.

Hello Sambit,

This message is displayed because all your PO items concerned by confirmation have flag "No further confirmations expected" set (see "Statistics" sub-tab from "Item data" tab).

During the first post of confirmation in SRM, the final delivery flag must be set (in SRM or in R/3: for this, check BAdI), that is why "No further confirmations expected" is set and led pop-up message.

Thanks for your response.

For the first confirmation the "Last delivery" indicator is not set in SRM still subsequent confirmations are not possible. In R/3 the Final delivery indicator also not set but it works fine in R/3.

Please advise if any SAP notes or any changes in config. are required..

Hi Laurent,

The "No further confirmations expected" is available in SRM PO only. We are in classic scenario and our POs are created in R/3 backend not in SRM.

So I couldnt check that setting for my PO.

Please reply back.

But the SAP notes is already applied on our system as it's part of SRM_server 5 and support pack level 04.

Any other ideas ?

Hello Sambit,

Error message class concerned is BBP_CF and its number is 036.

Look by yourself if OSS notes deal with your problem.

If not, debug function modules BBP_CF_ASSIGNMENT_BACKEND and/or BBP_CF_AUTOMATIC which call this message.
