Renaming a file

Hi all,

iam loding a exel file using bdc for one master data updation .

i need to change the file name of the excel file in the presentation server once the loading is over .

is it possible to do so ?

Please update me ..

    You could read it and save it with a different name.

    Did not find a "rename", but a combination of cl_gui_frontend_services->file_copy and cl_gui_frontend_services->file_delete should do it.

    check all the methods from cl_gui_fronnd_services related to file. i guess you can easily find a walkthrough of the solution.

    There is no Rename option in CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES. Instead, you can copy and delete the existing file.
