Hi,

I am trying to create WebI XI R2 report. I have set drill down filter on Country Object. If I select "UK" or any other country, report works fine. But my problem is I want to select more than one country at a time. Is there any way that I can achieve by using Drill down filter or any other function ?

I can definately use PROMPT and get what I am looking for, But is there any way other than PROMPT , to select more than one values at a time.

If you are Using Xi 3.1 SP2 the "Input Controls" fucntionality should provide you the feature of select multiple values does that meet your requirement?

Hi,

Thanks everyone for their suggestions.

Thomas, I am using XIR2. But will be upgrading to 3.1 shortly. So will try your option and let you know.

Hi,

Selecting multiple values in the drill filters is not possible.

Either you can go with prompts or with the standard filters.

You can use the global filters or block level filters at the report if you are just using the drill filters for the sake of doing analysis .

Actually to make the drill path clear, multiple choice is not a good strategy. You may categorize the contries into continents for instance, and drill on continent.

Hi,

as far as I know this is not possible. As you said one option is to use prompts and OpenDocument links.
