delete data from client

Hi All,

how do i delete data from client , if i lost my device?

I want to delete all data when somebody sync using that device.

Hi,

If you are using Netweaver Mobile 7.10, you can simply un-assign the DMSWCV or the corresponding application from the device. This will send the "Delete" messages for all the instances which are already sent to that device.

If you are using netweaver mobile 7.10, then you can "disable" the device in the portal.

a- this will block the inbound queue for the device. Thus preventing any processing of messages from the device.

b- This will also trigger uninstallation of various applications from the respective device and put the uninstallation message for the device. So once the synch is completed, the application on the device will be lost and he will not be able to work any more.

thanks for your response.

Disable Device:

disable device will help to send delete message to client and blocking inbound queue to stop client message.

Un -assign DMSWCV:

I will get delete message when i un-assign the DMSWCV , but it wont stop processing client message(post message) in backend.
