Hi Gurus,
Background
OS : Windows 2003 Server
RDBMS : Oracle 9.2
SAP IDES: R/3 Enterprise 4.7x2.00 SR1
Trouble
On my SAP IDES installation processes, the BRCONNECT error rised while updating database statistics.
The brconnect.log file presented as the following contents:
BR0801I BRCONNECT 7.00 (16)
BR0999E Loading of SQL client library oci.dll failed - please check Oracle configuration
BR0310E Connect to database instance C11 failed
BR0280I BRCONNECT time stamp: 2020-09-15 12.54.33
BR0804I BRCONNECT terminated with errors
I searched some reference about it, and found my brconnect version is 7.0, it's incorrect.
So I downloaded the new DBATL640O92_51-10004734.SAR from SAP service marketplace,
and then no matter how I try, the SAR file can not be decompressed, and its message is "format error in header".
Please give me suggestion how should I do?

Hi Mic,
Download the latest version of DBA Tools as suggested earlier from [https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/swdc]
Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group" Additional Components" SAP Kernel" SAP KERNEL 32-BIT" SAP KERNEL 6.40 32-BIT>Windows Server on IA32 32bit>DBATL640O92_51-20000185.SAR

Hi, Shambo
Thanks very much.
I solved the trouble.
In fact,I found that the DBATOOLS.SAR exists in two places with different version,Installation master CD and SAP kernel 640 CD.
And the database instance installation procedure uses the incorrect version from installlation master CD,in other words, BRCONNECT 7.0 was used for installation,So the above trouble took place.
My solution is :
Firstly extracting DBATOOLS.SAR from SAP KERNEL640 CD to get the correct version 640 as preparation,
Overwrite the relevant files immediately with prepared after "extract archive" passed in database instance installing procedure.
By the way,a error would take place about an unknown parameter "PIPE_COPY_CMD" , it may be used for database backup.
My solution is opening the initC11.sap and find with the keyword "PIPE_COPY_CMD" and comment the parameter becuase of no use of it.
Finally the database instance installation of IDES is set up successfully.
I think that It is necessary to inform all who want to install SAP IDES R/3 Enterprise 4.7x2.0 the correct method.

go download the latest version of SAPCAR, when you run it, it should show SAPCAR version 2.01 (or similar).
