Solved: startsap: line 1689: 20531 Bus error (core dumped)

Dear SAP Guru,

We are getting the following error while starting the startsap

tarting SAP Instance DVEBMGS01

-

Startup-Log is written to /home/mrqadm/startsap_DVEBMGS01.log

startsap: line 1689: 20531 Bus error (core dumped)

$SAPSTART_INSTANCE_SRV pf=$PROFILE_DIR/$START_PROFILE -D >>$LOGFILE 2>&1 Startup of Instance Service failed

See /home/mrqadm/startsap_DVEBMGS01.log for details

We have done the following steps:

1. Restarted the server

2. Update the Kernel

Hi Vijay,

If your OS is Linux , then check note 359566.

Else let us know the OS.

Please check the memory of you system and the CPU attached to it.

Please stop all the processes on the system fot that instance .check that no oracle processes are running.

Now Clean the shared memory.

Cleanipc XX remove

XX-is the instance no.

Start the oracle from SQL promt and the Listner from orasid.

Then start the SAP sytem by startsap r3.

elase past the log of Dev_disp,dev_work form the work directory and the startsap.log also.

what R3trans -d -w test shows ?
