SAP login problem

Hello Experts,

I have install SAP 4.6 Version it was running fine few months before. But now when I try to login with username and password it throws me an error that your u201CLicense has been expiredu201D.

Can you please guide me on the above error? It would be of great help as I need to work on project

Dear guru,

Either a developer is using some special GUIscripting on your system to make a joke, or the license has expired.

As I think the 2nd option is more likely, I move this from SAPGui forum to the NW Admin forum and reject the cross-posting in the NW AS General.

How did you install the license in the first place?

Don't you have any standard procedures for maintaining the systems?

That your license expires should not happen...

ps: A simple search should be clear as daylight. Also Pravin's answer is clear, the error message is as well. Why do you want to know more from the forum?

From command line

as <SID>adm do

saplicence -show

if if says its expired, then you need to get anew license.
