No active index was found for this selection.

Hello colleagues,

We have implemented the note 1098046 in system ERI. When we executed

the program COM_SE_DISPATCHER it shows the error "No active index was

found for this selection". This error seems to be in object ERC_CDCY/NE.

Please could you have a look on this problem asap. We have opened the

system connection an access data.

Regards Víctor.

    Dear Victor,

Why dont you try to delete the index in the SES_ADMIN and recreate it for object ERC_CDCY/NE? Please do not forget then to execute report RCF_SES_JOIN_INDEX_CREATE.

    Regards

    Christine

      Hello Christine,

When try again recreate the object ERC_CDCY/NE show this error.

      Short text

Dynamic type conflict when assigning references

      What happened?

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "CL_HRRCF_SES_BUSOBJ_FROM_SPTYPCP" had to be

      terminated because it has

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

      Error analysis

An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_MOVE_CAST_ERROR', was

      caught in

procedure "GET_INSTANCE_BY_BUSOBJ" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by

      RAISING clause.

Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the

exception would occur, the current program is terminated.

The reason for the exception is:

It was tried to assign a reference to a rereference variable using the

'CAST' operation ('?=' or 'MOVE ?TO').

However, the current content of the source variable does not fit into

      the target variable.

      source type: "\CLASS=CL_HRHAP_SES_BUSOBJ_AES_DOC"

      target type: "\CLASS=CL_HRRCF_SES_BUSOBJ_FROM_SPTYP"

      Regards.

    Dear Victor,

Please have a look at note 1149647. This note provides a correction to handle such exceptions in the business object class. Please apply the correction instruction. Note that if you implement manually, you will need to create message 258 of

message class HRRCF0001 after you have applied the correction instruction.

Just for your information: If an index is in status "Cancelled" then you should delete this index and create it again. Please don't forget to run report RCF_SES_JOIN_INDEX_CREATE after the creation of new indexes.

    Hope it helps,

    Regards

    Christine
