Price information related fields mapping in Catalog OCI settings

Hi Experts,

We create some customizing fields for the catalog item price data, and import the value to these fields such as Amount, Price Unit, Price base quantity... Also we have configurated the OCI fields mapping in UI. But when we transfer the catalog items from MDM catalog to the shopping cart, it was not able to transfer the data to the price fields of shopping cart. The missed OCI fields are NEW_ITEM-PRICE & NEW_ITEM-CURRENCY.

Hi,

Check whether OCI mapping is done for the same user used in the Web Service definition.

Yes, it is already done for the user which defined in web service. Is the problem occurred as we maked some incorrect definition for the customized fields in MDM console? We create a "Amount " field with the type of text. Should we change it to the type of "Currency"?

Hi,

Could be the reason, you can try debugging the BAPI which gets executed on clicking of Transfer button. Try using the same definition for Amount and Price fields and check whether it is working fine. If yes, then the issue is with customization only. In that case you need to map these customized fields with some new fields present in OCI mapping.
