SAC:SAP anlytical cloud : unbale to create date diffrence between two dates

Hello SAP analytical cloud community,

I am importing the data from C4C in to SAC..In my model i have two fields , creation on date (eg format 01.01.2018) and completed on date (eg format: 05.01.2018)...if i caluculate the difference between those dates i should get as 4 (no of days).

I tried all possible scenarios and could not achieved this...also in the model i see only one date field can be created..any thoughts on this?

Seems you can only do it against a specific date, so you can do DATEDIFF([d/Date_of_Visit] ,"2018-10-01" ,"Day" ) which will work, or you could set that to the 1st of january to get year to date or 1st of April for reg year. Only, in the date parts it only displays dimensions which it recognises as a date. In my case, it's Date_of_Visit.

And on the back of that, i've just tried to import a new model and set up 2 dates. It still doesn't allow this.

Hello Lakshmikanth,

pretty sure that as of now you can't have 2 dates in the same model. The only option right now for 2 dates in a single model is to load the data via a XLS file directly into the story.

Thanks Srihari, just a question from the eg dat iff can be used with creation date - completed date (how these dates needs to be defined in the model?)
